Great Expectations
Adapted From the Dickens' Classic

Author(s):
David  Coons
Karen  Coons

Here's a literary classic, adapted into a musical! The orphaned Pip is being raised by Mrs. Joe, his bitter sister. Besides having to endure the burdened Mrs. Joe's anger, Pip also has a frightful run-in with an escaped convict, whom he eventually helps. Fortunately, Pip has two supportive friends: Biddy, a kind, encouraging girl, and Joe, his sister's husband. But then Mrs. Joe sends Pip to live with the wealthy, yet bitter, Miss Havisham. After tolerating life with her for six years, Pip's life takes another twist when he receives money, presumably from Miss Havisham, to go to London. But Miss Havisham introduces Pip to the cruel Estella, who tries to hurt Pip. This will supposedly help Miss Havisham feel vindication for her own rejections in life. Dramatic twists as only Dickens can create will leave your audiences mesmerized. The story's filled with glorious musical numbers: "Always Count On Me," "Will I Find My Way?" and "Great Expectations." Loaded with Dickens' style and emotion, this show is guaranteed to touch any audience. Ever the Best of Friends Always Count on Me Great Expectations With You Here Class
